Job Responsibilities
Assists the Health Services Administrator with implementing and evaluating the goals of health services to ensure that the program meets Head Start Performance Standards, Missouri State Licensing Regulations and local agency requirements and agency policies to ensure that children are screened for potential health problems that may impair physical and/or Cognitive growth
Maintain health records on all enrolled children and prospective enrollees to provide documentation on the health of every child in compliance with state, federal and agency policies and regulations
Responsible for entering, monitoring, and tracking all follow up care and treatment for enrolled children
Perform non-invasive screenings (hearing, vision, blood pressure, growth assessments) for enrolled children as directed by the Health Services Administrator
Job Requirements
Responsible for scheduling and attending all on site provider visits to ensure the safety and well being of children enrolled in the program
Monitor assigned centers utilizing the Child Plus Database system to ensure compliance is met and maintained
Assists with the calculation of monthly meal counts as well as associated verification reports for reimbursement for Child and Adult Care Food Program
Assist Health Service Administrator in reviewing and interpreting health data to ensure that state and federal compliance is met and maintained
Knowledge of HS Performance standards, state licensing requirements for child health, and HS operating policies and procedures related to Health Services
Ability to organize and execute multiple tasks with ease
