ERSEA Compliance Monitor

Purpose:  The purpose of this position is to support ERSEA Unit through on-going monitoring and data analysis to ensure continued compliance with ERSEA Policies and Procedures throughout the program in accordance with Head Start Program Performance Standards and Head Start Act.

Job Responsibilities

*Plan and schedule regular desk monitoring and on-site visits to assess compliance with all ERSEA requirements, policies and procedures,   throughout all YCWA and Child Care Partner locations

*Review assess ChildPlus reports to identify areas of risk and overall weakness to determine group and individual coaching and training needs

*Work collaboratively with ERSEA Monitoring Manager and ERSEA Monitoring Specialist to identify, plan and implement unit adjustments   regarding enrollment, attendance, special needs staffing, etc. at the management and center levels

*Provide coaching as needed to Family Outreach Worker's and YWCA Child Care Partners during the monitor visits

*Provide support to the ERSEA Monitoring Manager with coaching and training of new staff at YWCA Centers & YWCA Child Care Partners

*Attend regularly scheduled meetings within the unit and the unit supervisors

Job Requirements 

*Working knowledge of social service agencies in the community

*Basic knowledge of word processing software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point,etc.) and proficiency with keyboarding

*Basic understanding of the Head Start Performance Standards, ERSEA Policies and Procedures, YWCA Policies and Procedures and Missouri       Child Care Licensing Regulations

*Oral and written communication skills

*Current and valid driver's license, ability to travel as needed

*Must be adaptable, flexible and posses the ability to balance multi-needs to meet deadlines

*Posses leadership and management skills

*Work with minimal supervision

*Behave in professional manner

*Provide quality customer service

Education Requirements

*Bachelor's Degree in Social Services or Human Services filed; 3 years of experience recruiting in a non-profit environment preferred
